NOTE:
This procedure consists of mating the ATU Shelf connector to the PGTC
connector or to other
SLC
systems utilizing the PGTC.
NOTE:
Refer to the APPLICATIONS section of this manual for a PGTC/
SLC
inter-
connection diagram.
Step 1:
Connect the cable assembly's J109 connector the ATU P109 connector.
Step 2:
Route the cable assembly up the left duct and across the tie bar located
at the top of the frame over the TS1 block. Secure the cable assembly to
this tie bar leaving enough slack for the J115 and P115 connectors to
engage with an adjacent bay's similar cable assembly.
Step 3:
Connect the other end of the cable assembly's J115 connector to an
adjacent
SLC
bays's P115 connector.
3.1. If this bay is the first system utilizing PGTC then connect the
cable assembly's P115 connector to the PGTC's J109 /J115 con-
nector.
3.2. If the PGTC is not utilized store the J115 and P115 connectors in
the duct above the frame.
Step 4:
Refer to PGTC Interconnections in this section for further detailed
cabling arrangements and details.
