Unistrut Safety Cable
Complete safety cable installation and turn to page 47
The safety cable must be securely attached to the
building structure and NOT the unistrut. It can be
attached to I-beams, steel trusses, or Glulams
as shown in sections 1.4.1 and 1.4.2. Avoid sharp
edges. If you are unsure how to secure the safety
cable properly, contact a structural engineer.
