2.4.3 Universal Mount
Unistrut Safety Cable
The safety cable must be securely attached to the
building structure and NOT the unistrut. It can be
attached to I-beams, steel trusses, or Glulams
as shown in sections 2.4.1 and 2.4.2. Avoid sharp
edges. If you are unsure how to secure the safety
cable properly, contact a structural engineer.
