Configuring your Extio devices
The OSD provides the following features and options to configure your Extio 3 Series transmitter and
receiver.
Basic functions
Transmitter information
View the connection information (
Video In
and
Line In
) for your transmitter.
Settings
Close Click
Close
to close the OSD.
Reboot transmitter Click
Reboot transmitter
to reboot your transmitter device.
Reboot receiver Click
Reboot receiver
to reboot your receiver device.
Wake up transmitter
Click
Wake up transmitter
to wake up your transmitter if it turns
off.
Refresh connection
Click
Refresh connection
if the connection between your
receiver and transmitter devices is lost. Wait while your
connection is refreshed.
Audio/Video
Control the
Analog Volume
of your audio inputs and outputs
(
Line In
,
Microphone
,
Line Out
, and
Headphone
).
Monitors
Optimize video mode compatibility with monitors
– Enable this to
make sure the video parameters and EDID of your monitors
are optimized for maximum compatibility with your device.
This option is enabled by default.
Stabilize display output
– Enable this to reduce flickering
associated with video output. This option is disabled by
default. For more information, see “Random display
flickering occurs while using a point-to-point connection”,
page 45.
Use fixed EDID
– Enable this feature to apply a fixed EDID to
your output. If a monitor is currently connected to an output
on the receiver, click
Update
to apply the EDID settings of
that monitor to your transmitter. If a monitor isn’t currently
connected to that output, click
No monitor
so that no EDID
is applied.
Audio source selection
Adjust the audio settings for your device:
Headphone audio source
– Select the audio source (for your
headphone) from the transmitter.
Line Out audio source
– Select the audio source (for your Line
Out device) from the transmitter.
Microphone or Line In audio source
– Select the input audio
source from the receiver.
