7. Remove the drain screw on the discharge seacock. Drain the seawater.

8. On models with a drop box and engine‑mounted transmission oil cooler, remove the drain plug and drain the seawater.

9. On models with a drop box and drive‑mounted transmission oil cooler, as shown, remove the drain plug and drain the seawater.

10. On models equipped with a seawater strainer, refer to
Seawater Strainer.
11. Apply sealant to the drain plugs of the transmission oil coolers before installation.

12. Install and tighten the oil cooler drain plugs securely.
13. Reconnect the seawater hoses. Tighten the dual hose clamps securely.
14. Apply sealant to the threads of the drain screw for the discharge seacock.
