For example, the MerCathode system has an in‑line fuse in the wire that connects from the positive (+) battery terminal to the
positive (+) terminal on the controller. If the fuse is defective (open), the system will not operate, resulting in a loss of corrosion
protection. Have your dealer show you the location of and service procedures for the fuse.
a - 5 amp fuse or circuit breaker (some models equipped with a 20 amp
fuse—replace as equipped)
b - Power supply to MerCathode
c - Power supply to VIP
d - 25 amp fuse or non‑thermal circuit breaker
