NOTE:- Ensure that all controllers in the same RS485 connection network have
DIFFERENT System Address settings to prevent communication errors.
ii. Advance Communication
This parameter lets users specify the communication mode between the
controller and the host of the system. Toggle between the option of 'NOR' and
'EHD'. The default value is 'NOR'.
iii. Facility Code
This parameter lets users set the four digits Facility Code of the card to the
system. Facility Code is the first four-digit of the 10-digit card number. ie. If a
card number is 1234567890, the Facility Code will be '1234' and '567890' is
the card number. The default value is “0000”.
iv. System Mode
This parameter lets users set the System Operating Mode for the unit. There
are two system modes to choose from, and different mode will enable or
disable certain features that are only applicable to the respective mode. The
two available modes are:
i. DA – Door Access Mode.
ii. TA – Time Attendance Mode.
Below is a table showing the features available and unavailable for each
mode. Features not stated here are supported by all modes.

v. Enter Cfg by FP
This parameter lets users set whether to allow access into Configuration
Menu by presenting an authorized user’s fingerprint. When this parameter is
set ON, controller will prompt for fingerprint identification when users want to
enter Configuration Menu by pressing ‘*’ (asterisk) key.
vi. Enter Cfg by Cd
This parameter lets users set whether to allow access into Configuration
Menu by presenting an authorized user’s access card. When this parameter is
set ON, controller will prompt for access card identification when users want to
enter Configuration Menu by pressing ‘*’ (asterisk) key.
vii. Enter Cfg by ID
This parameter lets users set whether to allow access into Configuration
Menu by manually entering an authorized user’s ID number. When this
parameter is set ON, controller will prompt for user’s ID number when users
want to enter Configuration Menu by pressing ‘*’ (asterisk) key.
