Option 3 Local Mode
This option allows you set up the DL431 Mic Splitter for local or console operation.
To set up the unit for local or console operation
Enter the main menu, select option 3 and then continue to set the unit’s operating
mode from the two options available:
• Local - allows gain and function changes from the unit’s control panel, see “Control
panel” on page 28. Both mic amps A and B can be operated locally.
• Console - locks out the gain and pushbuttons on the control panel and only allows
changes from the connected console. Only mic amp A can be operated from the
connected console.
1 Select option 3 from the main menu;
see “To enter the main menu and select an
option” on page 42. You will see a display
similar to the one shown left. The currently
selected option has the adjacent asterisk.
2 Select the option you require by
pressing the up or down arrow buttons to
move the asterisk up or down. In this
example, press the down arrow to select
“Console” mode.
3 Press SELECT to save and store the
setting.
4 Use the MENU button to exit.

you straight to the next
screen and the one shown
above will be skipped
