4.21 Water Valve
The Water Valve is attached to the output of the Coffee / Hot Water
Flow Through Heater. The valve is in a normally closed position.
When the Brew Unit is driven into the brew position the valve
mechanically opens and water is supplied to the Brew Unit. This
connection must be air / water tight to prevent air from entering the
water path, and / or leakage from the occurring.

The two o-rings that form the seal to the brew unit can be accessed
from the front / inside area of the appliance - once the brew unit
removed. To access the upper seal, the heater must be removed
from the appliance. The Water Valve can be disassembled for
service; parts can be replaced individually.
