Fault with the AutoDos (automatic dispensing)
Problem Possible cause and remedy
The following message
appears in the display:
Check PowerDisk
The AutoDos function is activated. There is no
PowerDisk or an empty PowerDisk has been inserted.
Confirm the message Check PowerDisk with OK.
Insert a full PowerDisk.
Use the sensors to select the Available message
and confirm with OK (see “Detergent – Automatic
dispensing/AutoDos”).
If you do not wish to use automatic dispensing,
deactivate the function using the AutoDos sensor
or by confirming the Not available message with OK.
The alarm tone is
sounding.
The programme does
not start or a programme
that has already started
stops.
The following message
appears in the display:
AutoDos lid open
The AutoDos lid has not been closed properly.
Close the AutoDos lid and lock it fully (see
“Detergents - Automatic dispensing/AutoDos”).
If the lid cannot be fully closed, check whether the
PowerDisk holder is lying flat (see “Detergents -
Inserting a PowerDisk”).
If the same fault message appears again, call Miele.
The following message
appears in the display:
PowerDisk empty.
Deactivate AutoDos with
OK.
The AutoDosfunction is active and the PowerDisk
is empty.
Replace the PowerDisk (see “Detergents -
Automatic dispensing/AutoDos”).
If you do not wish to use automatic dispensing,
deactivate the function using OK or the
AutoDossensor.
