Remove the screws from the right end of
the linear scale, and remove the linear
scale.

Remove the screw from the components
at the end (linear encoder), and replace
the linear scale.

Reattach by reversing the removal pro-
cedure.

Move both the media position and the
position without media down and carry
out a linear encoder test.
* If the media is too thin to read, use a media
within the specifications.
