Turn the main power supply on the right
side panel of the printer ON, then select
[MAINTENANCE] - [ST.MAINTE-
NANCE] - [CARRIAGE OUT] to move
the head unit over the platen.

Turn the main power supply OFF.

Remove the front cover (x4 screws) and the station cover (x5 screws). (See P. 3 - 4 )

Remove station cover 2 (x4 screws).
Be sure to shut the main circuit breaker to prevent unexpected move.
Power ON.
