If you have tightened the clamp screw,
loosen it.

Obtain the highest point of the hole.
If the scanning measurement termination method is set to [Auto] (automatic termination)

Face the probe towards the left or right
of the center top surface of the hole,
and slowly bring it into contact with the
surface until a beep sound is made.
Maintain contact between the probe and
the surface.

[0.000] will be displayed on the LCD
screen.
NOTE
Bring the probe into contact within
0.5 mm of the highest point.
Measuring with a wider range may
increase measurement errors.

Secure the probe up/down wheel with
your hand or the clamp screw in order to
prevent it from moving.

Move the probe left or right so that it
passes the center of the top surface of
the hole. Perform this action until a beep
sound is made.

The measurement of the
highest point is complete.

If you have tightened the clamp screw,

Face the probe towards the center of the
top surface of the hole, and slowly bring
it into contact with the surface until a
beep sound is made.
Maintain contact between the probe and
the surface.

Secure the probe up/down wheel with
your hand or the clamp screw in order to
prevent it from moving.
