5.9.3 Connect the Furnace and Facilities Exhaust to the CD-20 Condenser
Refer to section 4.8.4 for connecting the “AVP” condenser. The following section details only the
immediate connections required for the input and output of the CD-20 condenser. Other facilities
requirements are identical to that of installations detailed previously in this manual, such as the drain
requirements, process pressure sense line installation, nitrogen supply and cabling. Once you have
completed this section please refer back to section 4.1.2 for the remaining installation instructions.
1. The output to the CD-20 Condenser is designed to accept 1” male NPT fittings. Use Teflon tape
to install a 1” male NPT compression or other suitable fitting into the output side of the CD-20
condenser.
2. Using 1” tubing Plumb from output of the CD-20 to the facilities exhaust.
3. If the facilities exhaust goes up vertically a drain line must be installed to prevent moisture from
backing up into the SENTRY 1510.
4. The input to the CD-20 Condenser is designed to accept 1” male NPT fittings. Use Teflon tape to
install a 1” male NPT compression or other suitable fitting into the input side of the CD-20
condenser.
