4.4 Installation Procedures – Electrical
CORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE INTERCONNECTING
CABLE TO THE BASE CONNECTOR BETWEEN THE
CONTROLLER AND THE PAN AND TILT UNIT IS REQUIRED
FOR RELIABLE OPERATION OF THE POSITIONING
SYSTEM. CABLES SHOULD BE CONSTRUCTED WITH
CONSIDERATION OF WEATHER CONDITIONS, AND
SEALED AS REQUIRED TO ASSURE TROUBLEFREE
SERVICE. MOOG IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR POSITIONER
DAMAGE DUE TO FAULTY CABLING.
4.4.1 Connector installation
Included with the positioner are mating plugs and contacts for the base and two side
port connectors. Follow the instructions below to build cables for the installation;
additional instructions may be included with the contacts.
