Troubleshooting
2.1
Entering Maintenance Mode
Prerequisites: Turn off your radio.
Procedure:
Press and hold the PTT button and Talkgroup Scroll Rocker (CH-), and turn on your radio.
Your radio shows the following indications:
The display shows boot animation.
The display shows Maintenance.
2.2
Connecting to the Maintenance Mode Portal
Prerequisites: Ensure that your radio is in maintenance mode.
Procedure:
1 If you need to configure the Wi-Fi network or download logs, perform one of the following
actions:
Option Actions
Connecting your radio
to the Maintenance
Mode Portal through a
USB cable
Connect a USB cable between your radio and computer.
NOTE:
If you are using Windows 10, no drivers are required to
connect your radio to your computer.
Once connected, the computer shows your radio as
Remote NDIS Device under Network adapters.

Wi-Fi
a Connect your smart devices or computer to the TRS-XXXX

Wi-Fi network.
b For the Wi-Fi password, enter the last eight digits of your
radio serial number.
NOTE: The WAVE PTX Portal administrator can
change the default password.
2 Open your preferred web browser.
3 In the address bar, enter https://192.168.100.1.

The XXXX represents the last four digits of your radio IMEI number.
