NOTE
The f ollowing events will be recorded into the Moxa switch’s Event Log Table:
• Cold start
• Warm start
• Conf iguration change activated
• Power 1/2 transition (Off ( On), Power 1/2 transition (On ( Off))
• Authentication f ail
• Topology changed
• Master setting is mismatched
• Port traffic overload
• dot1x Auth Fail
• Port link of f /on
Tracking
The tracking f unction can monitor the status of a port, the status of an interface, and the availability of a
host by pinging it. The status of tracking (up/down) is the result of the monitored target. The tracking
f unction can bind a tracking entry and perf orm a specif ic action according to the status of the tracking
entry.
Tracking Function
Enable Tracking Function
Select the Enable checkbox to enable the Tracking Function.
Disabled
Disable
Deselect the Enable checkbox to disable the Tracking
Function.
Interface Tracking
Monitor a port interf ace. If the status of interface tracking entry is down, it means that the port interf ace is
down. Alternatively, the status of the interf ace tracking entry is up.
