4.6.4 Selecting the country of use (for WiFi/
Bluetooth option)
If the WiFi/Bluetooth option is available, a selection list of countries for which a radio
license exists appears during initial commissioning and after a factory reset. Then select
the country in which the device will be operated. The country selection configures the
radio module for this region and selects the corresponding radio standard.
Select the country of use:
✓ The device is being operated for the first time
or a factory reset has been performed.
⇒ On the start screen, select the country of use from the drop-down menu and confirm
with OK.
Changing the country setting at a later date:
A factory reset must be performed for this purpose.
1. Press SK4 to open the device settings.
2. Perform the reset under GENERAL SETTINGS > DEVICE > Factory Reset
(see 7.3.5 DEVICE on page 47).
3. On the start screen, select the country of use from the drop-down menu and confirm
with OK.
The device may only be operated with the correct country setting! Operation of the
radio module in countries not listed is not permitted.
