Adjusting Tempo
To adjust the overall Tempo of your song, you can use the display in the Header, at the top of
the MASCHINE window:
The BPM control in the Header.
To adjust the Tempo (Beats Per Minute) value of your Project, click the BPM value, hold
the mouse button and drag vertically.

Adjusting Volume
Press the VOLUME button at the left of the Control encoder.
The VOLUME button lights up.
You can now adjust the volume for your overall Project, for each Group, and for each
Sound individually using the Control encoder:
To adjust the overall volume, turn the Control encoder. Hold SHIFT and turn the Control
encoder to adjust the value in finer increments.
To adjust the volume of a particular Group, press and hold its Group button (AH) and turn
the Control encoder. Hold SHIFT additionally to adjust the value in finer increments.
To adjust the volume of an individual Sound, press and hold its pad and turn the Control
encoder. Hold SHIFT additionally to adjust the value in finer increments.
As you adjust the volume, the left display indicates the volume’s current value.
It is recommended you try this while your Pattern is playing, you will immediately hear
the effect of your changes!
