MMS Settings
To access the MMS settings from the Idle screen,
* Press Softkey 1 (Message) to display the Message Menu.
Press MENU (Options menu) and 2 to display the MMS settings menu.
The following list provides the MMS settings that you may establish or change.
(1) MMS center Input the URL for the MMS service center.
(2) Proxy server Input the IP address of the proxy server (example,
010.250.250.220).
(3) HTTP port Input the HTTP port.
(4) APN Input the Access Point Name of the proxy server (which
services data requests bound for the internet).
(5) User name Input the user name you wish to display when sending a
MMS message.
(6) Password Input the password you wish to display when sending
a MMS message.
(4) Delivery report Select Receipt request (On/Off) or Auto send (On/Off). The
Receipt request option regards sent messages and requests
a delivery report when a MMS message is sent. The Auto
send option regards received messages and automatically
responds with a delivery report when requested by the MMS
sender.
(5) Auto receive Select manual/auto to receive MMS notifications and
messages.
(6) Received message size Select the maximum kilobyte size limit of received MMS
messages message size.
(7) Validity period Select the time period a MMS message is stored at the MMS
center for the service center to continue attempting delivery.
Email Settings
To access the Email settings from the Idle screen,
* Press Softkey 1 (Message) to display the Message Menu.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 3 to display the Email setting Menu.
O MMS notification contains
the sender’s ID, message
size, date sent, subject,
etc.
