Answer Options
The Answer Options establish the setting of the way that you prefer to answer a received call.
Any Key Answer
When this feature is active (on), you can receive a call by pressing any key (except END,
Softkey 2, or the Side keys). When this feature is not active (off), you can receive a call by
pressing SEND or Softkey 1 (Accept) only.
* Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, 2, and 1 to display the Any key answer screen.
Press 1 (On) to activate or 2 (Off) to deactivate the any key answer feature.
With a call in progress and any key answer active, the any key function does not apply. You
must press the SEND or Softkey 1 (Accept) to answer the incoming call.
Ring Silencer
Ring Silencer allows you to silence the ringer by pressing a side key for a received call when the
flip is closed.
* Press Menu (Options Menu), 1, 1, and 3 to enable the side keys, which are necessary for
the ring silencer to work.
Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, 2, and 2 to display the Ring silencer screen.
Press 1 (On) to activate or 2 (Off) to deactivate the ring silencer feature.
Fold Answer
When your phone is folded and the fold answer feature is active, you can answer a received call
by opening your phone.
* Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, 2, and 3 to display the Fold answer screen.
Press 1 (On) to activate or 2 (Off) to deactivate the fold answer feature.
Side Key
To enable or disable the use of the side keys,
* Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, and 3 to display the Side key screen.
Press 1 to enable or 2 to disable the side key feature.
O When the side key setting
is enabled, the volume
keys can be used to:

Toggle the mobile light.
l
Turn on the backlight
when the fold is closed.
l
Silence ring tune and
stop vibrate alert for
scheduler alarm.
l
Silence ring tune and
stop vibrate alert for
received calls.
l
Adjust the ring volume
for received calls when
ring silencer is off.
l
Adjust voice volume
setting during a call.
l
Adjust ring tune
preview volume.
l
Adjust playback volume
of audio files in Audio
and Visual.
l
Take pictures when
phone is in camera
mode.
O When the Fold answer is
on, the Any key answer
function only works if the
fold is open.
O Press and HOLD MENU
at the Idle screen to
enable or diable the Side
keys.
