Synchronizing
You must wait for the red diagonal bar on the Intellisync icon to disappear before you initiate
synchronization.
To access Synchronization:
* Press MENU (Main), 8, and 0 to display the Synchronization screen.
Highlight and select the check boxes of the items preferred for the synchronization.
Highlight and select the server type radio button.
Press Softkey 1 (Sync) to begin the synchronization process. A busy screen displays
during synchronization.
When the synchronization is completed and successful, the Summary screen displays.
Press Softkey 1 (OK) to return to the Synchronization screen.
Conflicts
The Conflicts softkey indicator displays on the Summary screen only when conflicts occur during
synchronization.
* Press Softkey 2 (Conflicts) to display the Conflicts screen with the number of conflicts that
occurred in each application.
Press Softkey 1 (OK) to exit the Conflicts screen and return to the Summary screen.
Ending Synchronization Process
To end the synchronization process before it is completed,
* Press Softkey 2 (Cancel). A screen displays “Synchronization canceled” and the Tools
menu displays. The data processed up to the point of cancellation remains in the remote
server or local server.
I If you do not wait for the
red diagonal bar to

computer may freeze
and a reboot may be
necessary.
I When Intellisync is
installed on a computer
with a slow processing
speed, individual
synchronization
(synchronize one item at
a time) of phonebook
contacts, Scheduler, or
ToDo should be done.
Specifying more than
one (for example,
phonebook contacts
and ToDo tasks) on a
computer with a slow
processing speed may
cause an error message
to appear.
