Sending IR from Phonebook
Only the entry information (Name, Home, Mobile, Work, Fax, 2 Emails addresses and 2 Info
fields) in the Phone phonebook may be sent to another compatible IR device.
To send a Phone entry to another IR device from the Phone list,
* Face the devices’ IR ports in a direct line within a few feet from each other.
Press BOOK until the Phone list displays.
Highlight the preferred phonebook entry to send.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 0 to send the entry data to the other device.
To send a Phone entry to another IR device from the entry details screen,
* Face the devices’ IR ports in a direct line within a few feet from each other.
Press BOOK until the Phone list displays.
Highlight and select the preferred phonebook entry to display the entry details screen.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 3 to send the entry data to the other device.
Own Number
If you cannot remember your wireless phone number, access the Own number list.
To access the Own number list,
* Press BOOK until the Own number phonebook displays.
Add your wireless phone number the same as adding a new entry to a phonebook.
If the phone number has not been entered for the highlighted option, a phone number does not
display on lower bottom of the screen.
O The NEC 535M wireless
phone sends data
according to the vCard
2.1 specification.
Depending on the other
party’s wireless phone or
device, the data may not
be received correctly.
