Displaying Next/Previous Message
When reading messages in the message view screen,
* Press Softkey 1 (Prev) to display the previous message in the folder list.
Press Softkey 2 (Next) to display the next message in the folder list.
Phone Number, Email, or URL in Message Text
Received messages may contain one or more of a phone number, Email, or URL in the
message text.
Phone Number
To call a phone number in message text,
* Highlight the desired phone number.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 1 to display the phone number in the dial edit screen.
Press Softkey 1 (Call) to dial the phone number.
Add to Phonebook
To add the phone number or Email address to the phonebook,
* Highlight the desired phone number or Email address. Press MENU (Options Menu) and 2.
Press 1 to add the number as a new contact in the phonebook, or press 2 to add the
number to an existing contact.
Create a New Message
To create a new message from a phone number or Email address in message text,
* Highlight the desired phone number or Email address.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and the appropriate option to display the New SMS screen for
a phone number, the New MMS screen for a phone number or Email address, or New
Email screen for an Email address.
O Press the Right
navigation key to search
forward in a message or
Email for a phone
number, Email address or
URL.
O Press the Left navigation
key to search backwards
in a message or Email for
a phone number, Email
address, or URL.
O Press CLR key to end the
a search and exit a
message or Email.
O The Options menu that
displays depends on
whether a phone number,
Email address, or URL is
highlighted in the
message text.
