Default Mode Settings
When a mode is selected, some of your phone’s settings are altered automatically to the
respective mode name. The following table shows the default settings for each mode.

Changing Mode Settings
To change the settings of a particular mode, proceed as follows:
* At the Idle screen, press Up navigation key or press MENU (Main), 1, and 2 to display the
Phone modes menu.
Highlight the preferred mode.
Press Softkey 1 (Edit) to display the appropriate mode settings menu. Continue with the
following instructions on the next page to establish the mode’s settings.
O If the selected mode is
Car the backlight will
always be turned on. This
will reduce battery life.
O The default settings
shown in the table may
vary. Be sure to check the
setting data with your
phone.
