Open the Contacts menu as shown in
Accessing the Contacts menu (page 80).
Highlight the New contact option.
Select the required type of the contact
number.
Use the Keypad: Enter the phone number
(including any additional digits e.g., to get
access to an outside line).
Long press the * key to insert a comma to
indicate a pause when you enter a number.
Use the Keypad: Enter the name.
Press the Clr key one or more times to return
to the idle display.
