Controller-Drive
Tray
This section provides examples of drive cabling topologies that can be used for
connecting the CE4900 controller-drive tray to FC4600 drive trays. Depending on the
number of drive trays that you need to connect, see the applicable figure for a cable
configuration. Each example provides redundant paths to the drives. The total number
of drives in the storage array, including the drives in the controller-drive tray and
those in the drive trays, must not exceed 112.
