on the Synchronous Mirroring (SM) premium feature and for software-related
procedures to set the configuration of the feature and use it.
Site Preparation The SM premium feature can be used only with Fibre Channel host connections. You
must have Fibre Channel switches to use SM and to create a fabric environment for
data replication. These switches require only minimal additional site preparation
requirements beyond basic storage array operation.
For additional site preparation considerations for Fibre Channel switches, including
power requirements and physical dimensions and requirements, refer to the
documentation that is provided by the switch manufacturer.
