The alarm lamp flashes and the text
HP/MS-alarm is displayed
Cause: Bad circulation in the heating medium cir-
cuit.
Action: Check the heating medium pump (16). Open
any radiator thermostats. Check that the
particle filter is not blocked.
Once the fault cause has been rectified set switch (8)
to 0 and then to 1.
If the alarm lamp still flashes the motor cut-out has
tripped due to the following causes.
Cause: Dropped phase or temporary mains
disturbance.
Action: Check the fuses.
Cause: Overloaded compressor(27).
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Mechanical fault on the compressor (27).
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Faulty motor protection (26).
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Fine-wire fuse on the relay card has blown.
Action: Replace the fuse.
Alarm lamp flashes and the text LP-alarm
is displayed
Cause: Start up of a cold installation
Action: Use Electric boiler mode.
Cause: Bad circulation in collector system due to
inferior venting/low pressure or ice (if ice has
formed the brine pump (35) will be warm).
Action: Vent and top up the fluid. Wait a few hours.
Cause: brine pump (35) malfunction.
Action: Check the brine pump.
Cause: Lack of refrigerant or other fault in the
cooling circuit.
Action: Call qualified service personnel.
Cause: Blocked evaporator due to too low antifreeze
concentration.
Action: Check the brine fluid’s freezing point.
After action check, on the display, that the difference
between Brine In and Brine Out is 2 – 5 °C when the
compressor is running. (See Control – Information
available on the display, point 4.)
Once the fault cause has been rectified set switch (8)
to 0 and then to 1.
Indications
NOTE!
The fault status must not be repeatedly
reset, as there is a risk of overheating
the motor windings.
Ifthe operating disturbance cannot be rectified by means of the above a installation
engineer should be called.
