(1) Turn on the perfect focus. Use the offset dial to move the focus.

[Asymmetric mode defined by range] button.
(4) Turn the offset dial in the direction where the value in the cube decreases and determine the position of
the sample bottom (near the objective).

(6) Enter “0” in [Below].
(7) Enter a value of the sample thickness in [Above].
(8) Determine [Step].
(9) Specify [A1 Piezo Z Drive] for [Z Device].
