Service guidelines
We shall not be held responsible or liable for any damage caused by wrong manipulation and con-
trol as well as misuse of the machine. Therefore, we urge you to refrain from making modifications
or changes to the ST730.
Replacing the stripping blades
Stripping quality and efficiency can only be warranted when using intact and genuine stripping
blades. The ST730 is designed that any stored values are not altered when the stripping blades
are being changed. Therefore, program resetting after changing blades are not needed.
Centering of the stripping blades as described hereunder can only be realized when the
jaws are centered correctly!
Turn off the machine and disconnect the mains cable.
• Remove safety cover (2) (Fig. 2, page 11).
• Loosen locknut (A) of the wire catchers (B) slightly.
• Hold blade holder (11) in place and loosen the set screws (10)
of the stripping blades slightly (Fig. 7).
