The external braking
resistor is provided for energy
feedback, e.g. as occurs in pulsed drive units or lifting gear.
It may be necessary here to plan for the exact braking
resistor required (see adjacent figure).
Installation of an SK BRE4-… is not possible in combination
with wall mounting kit SK TIE4-WMK….. In this case, braking
resistors of type SK BREW4-…
are available as an
alternative and they can also be mounted on the variable
frequency drive.
