Upgrade to Latest Software
Follow these instructions to upgrade the SD cards with the latest software.
1. Insert the t ouch screen SD card using a reader memory device in your
PC.
2. Go to http://emanuals.nordson.com/adhesives/software/.Thelatest
version is always available in this location.
3. Click on Spectra 30 from the list of products.
4. Select Spectra 30 Control System Software Version X.XXX.
5. Click on the link and select Save As or Save Target As.
6. Select the PC drive where your SD card memory device is installed and
click Save. Complete the following:
a. Save the software upgrade file (.dat file) onto the root of the touch
screen SD card.
b. Remove the SD card from the reader memory device when the save
function is complete.
7. Insert the Controller board SD card in the reader memory device.
8. Select the PC drive where your SD card memory device is installed and
click Save. Complete the following:
a. Save the software upgrade file (.dat file) onto the Controller board SD
card.
b. Remove the SD card when the save function is complete.
Re-install the SD Cards
Follow these instructions to reinstall the SD cards.
1. Reinstall both SD cards with the latest software onto their respective
locations. For SD card locations see figures C-3 and C-4.
2. Reinstall the pattern controller cover by tightening the four M5 captive
screws.
3. Reconnect power and switch on the pattern controller.
Upgrade will be completed automatically during the power up process.
