Using the Optical Viewfinder to Shoot
Your camera is also equipped with an optical viewfinder to compose images. Using the viewfinder helps you
compose images and focus clearly on the subject. Taking images by using the optical viewfinder will conserve
more battery power. We recommend that you use the viewfinder when the level of your batteries is low.
1. Rotate the mode dial to your desired scene (Auto/Program/Scene/Tv/Av/
Manual/Video) and power on your camera.
2. Compose your image in the viewfinder.
3. Press the shutter button.
The LED indicator blinks green while the camera is processing a captured
image.
