Manual Mode [ M ]
You can take pictures by manually adjusting the camera settings. The flash default setting for [M] Manual
mode is [ ] flash off. For long period exposure photography, be sure to
set the flash setting to [ ] flash off.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [ M ] Manual mode and power on your camera.
2. Press the [ ] menu button.
3. You can change the settings by using the / buttons and then pressing
the button to enter the sub-menu. Select the desired setting by using
the / buttons, and press the button. To exit the menu, press the
[ ] menu button again.
The provided capture menus are [IMAGE SIZE], [IMAGE QUALITY], [COLOR], [SATURATION],
[SHARPNESS], [FOCUS], [QUICK VIEW], [HISTOGRAM], [CAPTURE MODE], [EV], [WHITE BALANCE],
[ISO], [METERING], [SELF TIMER] and [INTERVAL].
4. Point the camera at your subject.
5. Press the shutter button.
You can set the shutter speed by using the button, and aperture value by using the button.
