Descending
• Press/hold the Select (Side) button for 2 seconds to access
Dive Mode. The DOWN Arrow will appear flashing (Fig.
84).
Hint: Quick taps (<2 seconds) of the Select (Side) button
starts/stops descents and quick taps of the Advance (Front)
button accesses the Alternate Displays.
• While the Down Arrow is flashing, press and release the
Select (Side) button to begin a Descent at a rate of 5 feet
(1.5 meters) per real time second.
• Press and release the Select (Side) button during the
Descent to stop the descent.
• During the descent, pressing and releasing the Advance
(Front) button provides access to the Alternate Displays.
• Press/hold the Select (Side) button for 4 seconds to access
Time Acceleration. The small clock icon shall begin
flashing (Fig. 85).
• Press and release the Select (Side) button to increase
Elapsed Dive Time 1 minute per real time second.
• Press and release the Select (Side) button during Time
Acceleration will restore normal time rate of 1 second per
second.
• Pressing and holding both buttons simultaneously for 2
seconds will revert operation to real Surface Mode.
