3.5.1 Making a trial printing for only one copy ([Proof then Print])
Proof then Print
Proof then Print is a function that makes prints by only one copy and holds the remaining copies when print-
ing multiple copies.
Because you can check the print result before starting to print the remaining copies from the Control Panel,
this function is useful for preventing printing of a large number of misprints.
This function is available when an optional Hard Disk is installed.
How to print from the computer
1 In [Job Retention:] of the [Security] window, select [Proof then Print].
2 Specify the number of copies, then execute printing.
Only one copy is printed. Continue to "Operations on this machine".
Operations on this machine
1 Press the Menu/Select key.
2 Select [PROOF PRINT].
3 Select the user name.
4 Select the job name.
5 Select [PRINT].
% To delete a job, select [DELETE].
6 If necessary, change the number of copies, then press the Menu/Select key to start printing.
