2.1 User Interface
TheEPOCH 600usesablendofdirect‐accesskeysandsoftwaremenustoachievefull
controlovertheinstrument.Thedirect‐accesskeypadprovidesinstantcontrolover
functionsthatarecommonlyusedduringinspections.Thesoftwaremenusprovide
accesstothemajorityofinstrumentfunctions,suchaspulser/receiversettings,
automatedcalibration,
measurementsetups,softwarefeatures,datalogging
capabilities,andmore.
AdjustingthevalueofaselectedparameterisachievedusingeithertheEPOCH 600
adjustmentknoborthenavigationkeypad.Theparameteradjustmentmethodis
determinedbytheconfigurationoftheinstrumentselectedattimeofordering.Both
methodsareoutlinedbelow.
