2.5.2 Auto-Boot on DC Power

Use the auto-boot on DC power mode to remotely turn on a TomoScan FOCUS LT

instrument from a DC power source. When this mode is enabled, you do not need to

press the on/off switch ( ) to start the TomoScan FOCUS LT. The TomoScan

FOCUS LT starts automatically when DC power is applied to the

DC IN input

connector. The mode is disabled by default.

To toggle the state of the auto-boot on DC power mode

1. Turn off the TomoScan FOCUS LT instrument and disconnect the DC power cord,

or turn off the external DC power source.

2. Press and hold the on/off switch ( ) on the front panel.

3. Reconnect the DC power cord to the

DC IN input connector or turn on the external

DC power source.

4. Release the on/off switch ( ) on the front panel when the

STBY indicator light is

green.

5. To toggle the state of the mode, repeat steps 1 to 4 above.

2.5.3 Auto-UT Mode

Use the auto-UT mode to define the state of the UT ON button on the front panel when

AC or DC power is applied to the TomoScan FOCUS LT. The mode is disabled by

default.

To toggle the state of the auto-UT mode

1. Turn off the TomoScan FOCUS LT instrument and disconnect the power cord.

2. Press and hold the

UT ON button on the front panel.

3. Turn on the TomoScan FOCUS LT powered by either an AC or DC power source.

4. Release the

UT ON button when the STBY indicator light is green.

5. To toggle the state of the mode, repeat steps 1 to 4 above.
