3. Operation Overview
This chapter describes the basic operation of the TomoScan FOCUS LT. The TomoScan
FOCUS LT is controlled by a computer called the Workstation. This workstation
controls the acquisition process and analyzes the ultrasonic data collected by the
instrument.
3.1 Hardware Configuration
Figure 3-1 on page 31 shows the hardware architecture of the TomoScan FOCUS LT.
