GX-series EtherCAT Slave Unit User’s Manual
Input range 1 to 5 V
Voltage of 1 to 5 V is converted to data from 0000 to 1F40 hex (0 to 8000). The input data range for
which conversion is possible is 0.8 to 5.2 V and here the output data is FE70 to 20D0 hex (400 to
+8400). If the input voltage drops below the input range to lower than 0.3 V due to disconnection
and so on, the disconnected line detection is activated and the data is set to 7FFF hex.
Input range 0 to 10 V
Voltage of 0 to 10 V is converted to data from 0000 to 1F40 hex (0 to 8000). The input data range for
which conversion is possible is 0.5 to 10.5 V and here the output data is FE70 to 20D0 hex (400
to +8400). When input data is a negative voltage, it is expressed as the two's complement
(hexadecimal) and the output data for a disconnected line is the same as for an input of 0 V (0000
hex).
