Troubleshooting for
Digital I/O Units

The output is turned
ON, but no output is
performed, and the I/
O indicator is OFF.
A bus error or communications error
occurred.
Check whether there is an
error in the slice bus or host
communications.

cator is ON, but no
output is performed.
The I/O power is not being supplied. Check whether the I/O power
is being supplied.
Wiring with the connected device is per-
formed incorrectly.
Check the wiring with the
connected device.
Connections between the base blocks of
the Slice I/O Unit are not made properly.

Check whether the connec-
tions are made properly.
The terminal block is disconnected. Check whether the terminal
block is disconnected.
The output cannot be
held when a commu-
nications error or bus
error occurs.
The Unit's Output Hold/Clear setting is set

The I/O power is not being supplied. Check whether the I/O power
is being supplied.
