Set the connection status, volume, etc. of each speaker automatically. ( p34)
2. Manual SP Setup
a. Speaker System
Change the settings of the speakers connected to ZONE 2, SURROUND BACK,
and FRONT HEIGHT jacks.
Setting Item Default Value Setting Details
SP System Surr.Back Select from among "Surr.Back", "Height" and
"ZONE 2" based on the connected speakers.
b. Speaker Setting
Change the settings of connection environment of the speakers.

Front SMALL Make the setting according to the size of the front
speakers and low-range reproduction capability.
"SMALL": When using small speakers with
insucient low-range reproduction capability (The
low-tone range of the front speakers is sent to the
subwoofer.)
"LARGE": When using full range speakers with
sucient low-range reproduction capability, or a
subwoofer is not connected
Front Height ----
Make the setting according to the size of the front
height speakers and low-range reproduction capability.
"SMALL": When using small speakers with
insucient low-range reproduction capability
"LARGE": When using full range speakers with
sucient low-range reproduction capability
• This can be set only when "a. Speaker System"
- "SP System" is set to "Height", and "Surr" is set
to "LARGE" or "SMALL".
• When "Front" is set to "SMALL", "LARGE"
cannot be selected.

(The sound of the center speaker channel is output
from other speakers.)
• When "Front" is set to "SMALL", "LARGE"
cannot be selected.
Surr SMALL Make the setting according to the size of the
surround speakers and low-range reproduction
capability.
"SMALL": When using small speakers with
insucient low-range reproduction capability
(The low-tone range of the surround speakers is
sent to the subwoofer or other speakers for which
"LARGE" is set.)
"LARGE": When using full range speakers with
sucient low-range reproduction capability
"NO": When surround speakers are not connected
(The sound of the surround speaker channel is
output from other speakers.)
• When "Front" is set to "SMALL", "LARGE"
cannot be selected.
