FIELD SETTINGS
AUTOMATIC RESET LINKAGE
The Automatic Reset Linkage is engineered as a significant upgrade from a standard
shear bolt for row unit and shank protection. When a rock or other obstacle is hit under-
ground the row unit tail (that includes shank, wavy coulters and optional basket) will trip
up and out of the ground. When the obstacle is passed over, four powerful reset springs,
will drive the 1tRIPr® shank back into the ground, in most conditions. The Automatic
Reset Linkage helps to protect valuable tooling from breaking and bending in rough and
rocky soil conditions. The AR Linkage may help, but will not prevent damage from oc-
casional glancing blows.
