Alarm Setup [460]
The following procedures are only available when the AV Codec is set to TRANSMITTER in the [100 MODE] menu.
This menu lets you set the alarm methods when the codec located at the remote site receives an alarm signal from the associ-
ated alarm sensor.
The destinations called by the alarm dialing are specified with the quick (short) dial numbers previously registered. Before set-
ting this menu, be sure to register the quick (short) dial number in the [310 DIRECTORY REGI.] menu.

Specifies the destination to be called when an alarm is
received from the associated alarm sensor.

Move the cursor to item 461 by pressing the
or button. Then press the ENTER button.
The [461 ALARM SETUP] menu appears on the monitor
screen.

Move the cursor to the ALARM TYPE
parameter. Then select a mode by pressing
the Direction buttons.
This item lets you select the signal type for the alarm or
sensor input.
LEVEL:
Accepts an alarm signal that remains on for a specific
time.
While the associated alarm sensor is on, the alarm
transmission will continue.
EDGE:
Accepts an alarm signal that is a short pulse.
