● Installation place
• The installation place shall be free from direct exposure to sunlight and hot air flow.
• Unit shall be installed where moisture, dust and vibrations are minimal.
• It shall be installed as far as possible from transformers, light adjusters, video units, CRT monitors, etc., because there
is a possibility of it being affected by the induction noise.
• If it is used adjacent to a radio receiver (radio set, TV set, etc.), this can be a cause of noise or misoperation for the
radio receiver.
● Rack mounting
• This unit shall be mounted on a rack (450 mm or more in depth) manufactured according to the EIA Standard or the
equivalent.
• The rack temperature shall not exceed 45°C. High temperatures can adversely affect the internal parts and are a pos-
sible cause of malfunction.
• This unit should be mounted as low as possible on the rack.
• Please refer to “Installation Procedures: Mount on the rack” for more detailed information.
● To use the unit, the signal ground terminal (SIGNAL GND) on the rear side shall
be grounded.
• If this terminal is not grounded, the unit may be affected by induction noise.
