Lock and Password Setup [490]
This menu lets you enable or disable a lock on some functions and set a password to protect the system.

Move the cursor to the desired item by pressing the or
button. Then press the ENTER button.
The selected item submenu appears on the monitor screen.
491 LOCK
Set this to prevent the alteration of settings or erroneous
operations by unauthorized persons.
MENU LOCK
To verify the password by pressing the MENU button.
This prevents the alteration of settings by unauthorized
persons.
10KEY LOCK
To lock the numeric buttons to prevent the selection of
view points.
However, the numeric button can be used when the
menu is set.
FUNCTION LOCK
The buttons shown below are locked.

ALM ACK button
# (ALM MEMORY) button

Register a password or change it.

Move the cursor to item 491 by pressing the
or button. Then press the ENTER button.
The [491 LOCK] menu appears on the monitor screen.

Move the cursor to the desired item
parameter. Then select either ON or OFF by
pressing the Direction buttons.
The selected parameter will be underlined in the menu
when the cursor is moved to another item parameter by
pressing the or button.
MENU LOCK
ON: Enables password verification when the
MENU button is pressed.
OFF: Disables password verification when the
MENU button is pressed.
10KEY LOCK
ON: Enables locking the numeric buttons.
OFF: Disables locking the numeric buttons.
FUNCTION LOCK
ON: Enables locking the specified buttons.
OFF: Disables locking the specified buttons.

Press the ESC button to return to the
previous [490 LOCK / MENU PASSWORD]
menu.

Before setting [LOCK] to ON on the menu [491
Lock], be sure to set the password on [492 Menu
Password].

Note: When an item MENU LOCK is set to ON, be sure to
set the password.
