Configure the settings relating to the FTP periodic image transmission
[FTP img. trans.]
Click the [FTP img. trans.] tab on the "Network" page. (☞ Pages 22 and 23: How to display/operate the setup
menu)
The settings relating to the periodic transmission of images to an FTP server can be configured on this page. To
transmit images to an FTP server periodically, it is necessary to configure the settings of the FTP server in advance.
(☞ Page 76) Refer to page 90 for descriptions of how to configure schedules of image transmission.
Important:
 • Dependingonthenetworklinespeedorthenetworktraffic,imagesmaynotbetransmittedattheexactdesig-
nated interval or period.
 • When"Alarminput"or"Manual"isselectedfor"Savetrigger"onthe[SDmemorycard]tab,theFTPperiodic
image transmission function will become unavailable.
 • When"On"isselectedforboththealarmimagetransmissionfunctionandtheFTPperiodicimagetransmission
function, the alarm image transmission function will be given priority over the FTP periodic image transmission
function.Forthisreason,imagesmaynotbetransmittedattheexactdesignatedintervalorperiodifalarms
occur frequently.

 • When"FTPerror"isselectedfor"Savetrigger"onthe[SDmemorycard]tab,imagesthathavefailedtotransmit
using the FTP periodic image transmission can be saved automatically on the SD memory card. (☞Page 29)

Select"On"or"Off"todeterminewhetherornotto
transmit images using the FTP periodic image transmis-
sion function.
When"On"isselected,itisnecessarytoconfigurethe
settings of the FTP server. (☞ Page 76)
Default:Off
[Directory name]
Enter the directory name where the images are to be
saved.
Forexample,enter"/img"todesignatethedirectory
"img" under the root directory of the FTP server.
Available number of characters: 1 - 256 characters
Default: None (blank)
[File name]
Enter the file name (name of the image file to be trans-
mitted) and select the naming option from the following.
Name w/time&date: File name will be ["Entered file
name" + "Time and date (year/ month/ day/ hour/
minute/ second)" + "Serial number (starting from
00)"].
Name w/o time&date: File name will be the characters
entered for "File name" only. When "Name w/o
time&date"isselected,thefilewillbeoverwritten
each time a file is newly transmitted.
Available number of characters: 1 - 32 characters
Default: None (blank)
[Transmission interval]
Select the interval for the FTP periodic image transmis-
sion from the following.
