Smoothly push the trigger button on the top of the probe (Fig. 1.5). Make sure that the
probe does not move and secured to the surface of the controlled zone.

After pushing the trigger button and the Impact Body hits the surface the measured
hardness value will appear on the display.
The minimal distance between the points of measuring should be not less than 3 mm/0.118".
Do not repeat measurements on the same point, because repeated measurements give
overestimated indications of the hardness of the product due to metal cold work in the
imprint zone
