42 EMERGENCY STOP DECELERATION

Description EMERGENCY STOP DECELERATION RATE

FUNCTION To provide a third deceleration rate which is
used when the emergency stop input is
activated.
Notes: Emergency stop is not regarded as a fault trip
and is not indicated as a fault, nor is it latched.
SETTING UP Adjust DEC3 to the level of deceleration required
under an external trip condition. Be sensible
about choosing this value - choosing a very
high rate will be of no use if the Microdrive
loses control of the load while trying to stop it.
Be sure to check the operation of this control
while commissioning.
